counseling

We offer Bible-based Christian counsel to our members and anyone in the community. We also work with the professional counselors from Christian Family Solutions to assist individuals and families who would like to meet with a Christian therapist.

Our pastors would be happy to talk about how the Bible gives answers to specific problems of life or to assist you in referring to a professional Christian therapist. To set up an appointment contact the church office or one of our pastors by phone or email.

baptisms

Our pastors are happy to discuss baptism with anyone at any time. Baptisms can occur either in our worship service Sunday morning or privately at any time throughout the week.  There is no cost for a baptism at St. Paul's. To discuss baptism with one of our pastors please contact them by phone or email.

Why be baptized?  God says that through baptism children and adults receive many blessings including the Holy Spirit who creates and strengthens faith in Jesus. In baptism God promises new life and forgiveness of sins. Even newborn children need baptism because they are sinful and need baptism (Psalm 51:5), they can and do believe and Jesus' command to baptize all nations includes them (Matthew 28:19).

weddings

Getting married is one of the great blessings that God has given us in this life.  Our congregation is glad to bring God's Word to such joyous occasions as believers begin their lives together.

When those getting married are not members of St. Paul’s they must agree to attend a Bible Information Class to study what the Bible says and understand the teachings of our church.  At the completion of that course individuals can decide whether they wish to join our congregation or not.

Every couple (including St. Paul’s members) must meet with a pastor to talk about wedding arrangements and have several sessions of pre-marital counseling in which communication skills and the biblical concept of marriage are presented.  These meetings are also opportunities for our pastor to get to know the couple so the service and sermon can best match the couple's situation.

Those interested in a wedding with St. Paul’s should contact the church to set a date before other plans with halls etc. are made to make sure the day and pastor are available.

Our sanctuary can seat 250 people and has air conditioning and makes a beautiful setting for weddings.

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25,26).

Funeral services are typically reserved for St. Paul’s members or those under the spiritual care of one of our pastors. If you have questions please contact one of the pastors to get specific details on funeral services at St. Paul's.
